摘   要：

The purpose of this talk is to exemplify some combinatorics behind trigonometry, including the classical result

due to D. André, where En  denotes the nth Euler number, which counts the number of permutations σ = σ1σ2 · · · σn  in the symmetric group  of degree n satisfying

A combinatorial proof of the trigonometric identity

is also presented. By manipulations of the Taylor series of tan  and sec   as formal power series, we obtain simple ways to compute the Euler numbers.
