講   題：Numerical Optimization Approaches for Simplicial Surface Parameterizations

摘   要：A simplicial surface, or a surface composed of planar triangles, can be parameterized by constructing a homeomorphism to a domain of canonical shape. This mapping induces a unified coordinate system on the surface and simplifies surface geometry processing tasks. In this talk, I will introduce numerical optimization approaches for computing such simplicial surface parameterizations and demonstrate their practical value through applications in computer graphics.
