講   題：A rescaling algorithm for blow-up problems

摘   要：

We consider a certain class of nonlinear evolution equations whose solutions become unbounded within a finite time, a phenomenon often referred to as blow-up. Several numerical methods have been proposed for solving blow-up problems. Among them, we introduce an algorithm proposed by Berger and Kohn (1988), which is based on a scaling invariant structure of the equations. In this talk, we will briefly outline the theoretical framework and its numerical implementation, followed by a discussion of its convergence analysis, applications, and several numerical results.
