講 題：Bilateral Hardy-type inequalities and application to geometry
摘 要：
The talk starts with a short review on the original Hardy's inequality. Then we introduce the progress on Hardy-type inequalities including a short review on the developing history plus a short proof for a new result. Finally, we illustrate briefly an application of the inequalities to the estimates of the first nontrivial eigenvalue of Laplacian in Riemannian geometry.
