講　題：Synchronisation of human cortical networks: the role of network structure and activation dynamics

摘　要：

Human brains are complex and highly convoluted. In order to understand the effect of the convolution to the neuronal signal transmission, by employing comprehensive neuroimaging data, we construct a complex network which represents accurately the local connectivity of the cortex (associated with its convoluted 3D geometry). Via a series of numerical investigations, we study the large-scale activity over such a spatially-constrained dynamical system, to understand the roles that local activation dynamics, network topology and cortical geometry play in shaping brain activity. We concentrate on the influence of network structure and dynamical transmission model on network synchronisation.
