講　題：Solving Slide-puzzles by Group Theory

摘　要：

WrapSlide is a slide-puzzle app for mobile device which recently developed by Alewyn Burger, a researcher at Stellenbosch University. It is more different to usual toroidal sliding block puzzles because some lines must be moved together.

This talk will introduce some mathematical concept to generate an algorithm not only to WrapSlide but also all twisty-puzzles. These concept are commutators and conjugates in Lie algebra and some fundamental techniques in group theory.
