摘 要：
We shall discuss some results and open problems concerning the topology of arrangements of complex hyperplanes. A conjecture given by me at 1997 concerning the fundamental group of the complements of an arrangement of complex hyperplanes, has been answered affirmatively, essentially by a team of four mathematicians from Isarel. They have discussed their proof at this summer at two different conferences, which were held in Jaca, Spain at June and in Hokkaido, Japan at August. We shall discuss some aspects of this conjecture. Also, we shall discuss a conjecture by M. Falk, and another conjecture by Terao. Both of these conjectures are still open and much works are needed to be done in order to understand these conjectures.
