講 題：Mathematics journeying with literature
摘 要：
Thus, the prophetess Deborah sang, beginning in an epic song, the journey of the mathematics of rationality together with the literature of sensibility. In Rheology and Mathematics, we discovered there is a journey in mathematical literature traveling with epic, classical Chinese and modern literature. From the viewpoints of mathematicians to those of literary artists, we uncovered the implications of literature for mathematics. In student’s mathematical creative writing, we saw the meaning of mathematical literature for mathematical education. Referring to various types of mathematical literature along the road, we investigated how to combine the truth in mathematics, beauty in words in such a way that the romanticized concepts of mathematics can warmly be received and embodied in words. At the end of our study, we discovered the existence of a humanistic mathematical world. Eventually, we understood that the correct concepts of mathematics, the emotional expression of words, and the clarity of narratives create a fulfilling mathematical literary writing, thus revealing the meaning of the journey.
