摘   要：

This talk presents novel numerical analysis and image processing methods to address complex challenges in both fields. In numerical analysis, we develop an unconditionally stable, second-order accurate predictor-corrector scheme for solving time-dependent partial differential equations, including fractional and dissipative systems, providing an efficient and reliable tool for simulating physical phenomena. For image processing, we propose new variational-based models to improve the segmentation of noisy and inhomogeneous images, overcoming the limitations of traditional models. A novel total variation (TV)-based model is also introduced for selective segmentation. The effectiveness of these models is demonstrated through numerical examples, and future work will focus on multi-phase segmentation and its integration with deep learning.
